Tyler + Laura | October 2, 2020 Wedding
Canmore, AB
Tyler and Laura wanted a small wedding with their closest family & friends. Given the circumstances of (dare I say it) the pandemic, they didn't want or need anything big, fancy, or over the top. They just genuinely wanted to get married.

After getting ready, we all gathered at the ceremony site at Silvertip Golf Course to witness the I Do's. This wedding was a special one for many reasons; my momma was the officiant, Laura & Tyler's own little boy as one of the ring-bearers, around 30 people were in attendance, and there was no bridal party - just a maid of honor and best man. Tyler walked down the aisle with his mom, and Laura with her dad.

In the warm October sun, the pair shared emotional vows, exchanged rings, and sealed it with a kiss. After photos with family & friends, the three of us ventured onto the course behind the marriage site for portraits. Reception was how you would imagine a big family meal at the holidays - good food and good company. There was no schedule and no timeline - guests mingled, danced and made brief speeches as the sun set perfectly for golden hour portraits. I truly felt like we were all just hanging out but in fancy clothes!

Thank you Tyler & Laura for inviting me to your intimate-elopement style wedding. The calm and relaxing way your day played out was a refreshing way to close out a difficult year.
