Kander Photography comes from my first initial and a portion of my last name combined.

Coincidentally, it's also the Phonetic spelling of the word Candor.

My business is built around photographing love authentically. I want to create images that capture your genuine emotions, personalities and connection.

She took so much care and interest in what we wanted for our day and she was more than willing to go above and beyond. She has such a natural talent.... 

We hired Kaila to do our wedding photos. My husband is very particular in what he likes and we were unsure of what kind of photographer was going to be able to capture our day to the fullest. Kaila was the most knowledgeable, communicative, beautiful person we’ve ever met. From the beginning, we had a Skype interview and we ended up talking for over an hour. She took so much care and interest in what we wanted for our day and she was more than willing to go above and beyond. She has such a natural talent and has also had a lot of training in what she does. On the day of our wedding she was literally almost like our wedding coordinator, she was not afraid to gather the masses and make the moments that we wanted to happen, but at the same time she was also in the shadows and we barely knew she was there. Me and my husband or not ones were usually behind the camera and she was so good at directing us and positioning us to capture the moments that mean the most. We just got some photos back and I cannot stress enough how perfect she captured our day. I cannot recommend enough that you book her immediately for your big day.
