Alana and I met a few years ago when she offered to help out at our very *last minute wedding in 2020 (after our 2 year planned wedding fell through the cracks thanks to that yucky pandemic). She is so incredibly sweet, and easy to chat to.
As soon as Alana mentioned she wanted to do some of their engagement session in their home (their first home together!) my brain started running with ideas. We went back and forth a bit brainstorming, and we were so excited! I loved how bright & white their main living space is (and um hello, that kitchen!!!).
I think the best way to really tell your story is to do it in places and locations that hold specific memories or significant moments that shaped where you are today. And I loved being part of this story for these two.
